Bangkok Garden Restaurant

Went here for lunch buffet and the price was only $17.95 which is great! The decor was really nice and there was a Koi pond. The Thai food was good but I feel it was kind of westernized and there are other restaurants in Toronto where you can find more authentic Thai food. Also, the service wasn't that great. They put us in a dark corner even though there were many tables available. The server didn't visit our table unless we called for him. So we kind of felt ignored. Would recommend for a one-time visit.

Me and my friend went here for Summerlicious 2019! I've been eyeing this restaurant even before and finally decided this summer to try out their foods! I loved the ambiance of the restaurant, with their dim light, water running through their fountain. Waiters were really nice and know what to do. I loved their foods, totally different tastes compare to what i eat in the fast food. Very tasty and rich in flavor. What i liked the most is their mango coconut sticky rice! I would definitely comeback here!

I had the every day wet noodles and they were amazing. The service was very friendly and the atmosphere was nice. The plate was full and I had to pack up half the meal tip take home. They had a full range of spiciness from none to extremely hot, and the food was very flavorful. The dessert was wonderful (we split the chocolate & chili mousse and the coconut creme brulle). I'd recommend this place to anyone, and I'm sure I'll be back.

The buffet is very good. We had the lunch buffet for our Christmas party. Everybody enjoyed themselves and the green curry with a touch of rice is phenomenal. I will go back with the work crew because we had a really great time and enjoyed our meal.

I went to Bangkok Garden for the very first time today for lunch. I tried their lunch buffet but for me there wasn't a lot of choice because I was looking for Halal options and in the absence of Halal options I decided to eat vegetarian food. Most of the food was average, but was freshly made. I had expected that they would have vegetarian fried rice included in the buffet, but it wasn't. I hope that the management introduces authentic halal food options and removes pork and pork options from the menu. They will attract many more customers.

Great restaurant after an experience at the Elm Wood Spa next door, in casual or formal dress - just not a bathrobe. Decor is modern with cultural elements, like the bamboo lamp shades resembling a bell or a bird cage, and statuette busks of Buddhist demons gaurding the restaurant entrance. And the colour is not typical bamboo colours, warm spices are the tones, almost burnt cinnamon in hue. Food was multi-flavourful and very good. I am adding a review a year later, so I can not review exact plates eaten. Will visit again.

This is truly a taste of Bangkok. I love the buffet lunch but love all their plated dishes even more. The space is beautiful with all the elegant touches and beautiful wood. You feel quite transported. Service is very friendly and so helpful. This place is exquisite, tasteful, and overall pure bliss. My cousin and I purchased a package at Elmwood that included a 4 course meal. My aunt has nothing but great reviews from here so we were excited. O M G. Our meals were delicious. We had the calamari and shrimp roll, the coconut chicken soup and the papaya salad, the cornish hen and the spicy curry chicken dish, followed by the deep fried banana with honey and coconut ice cream. WOW. Such an experience in your mouth. Very true to its roots. Our hostess was lovely as well and so were the other servers that checked in on us. I'd give this a 10 star if I could. Definitely going back with my husband. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!!

Stunning decor, friendly staff, and authentic Thai food at a reasonable cost. We had Thai spring rolls, pad thai, red curry with chicken, as well as ice cream for dessert. Besides the ice cream, every other item was made to perfection. Would absolutely recommend this establishment.

First of all, I do not like buffets, but this one is one of the best I've been to. The food is fresh: the dishes all retain their distinct flavour and are prepared with care. The lighting and atmosphere is soothing with the sound of running water. The staff were attentive, removing plates and replenishing water. It is reasonably priced, considering it's a buffet in downtown Toronto. The building itself is grand.

Great meal - lots of options. Flavour profiles were excellent. Great craft cocktails to complement delicious Thai offerings!

Food quality and taste were good. However table service during lunch buffet was very minimal. We had to keep asking for plates to be cleared and water refilled. Waiters hardly ever checked on our table

I came here with my husband and we absolutely loved the food at this place. Staff member who assisted us was knowledgeable about the menu and portion size. The ambience at the restaurant was relaxing, quiet, and friendly. The lighting was perfect and sets out a calm space to enjoy food.

Authentic Thai restaurant. The atmosphere is very nice there ans staff is friendly also. Food quality is pretty good as well but it is on the pricey side.

Nice smell when you walk into the dining room , good food, wish I had more of their delicious red curry on the plate.

While visiting Toronto my wife and I were staying at the Chelsea Hotel and had walked by the Bangkok Garden Restaurant on Elm Street many times without ever going in, so we decided it was time to give it a try, and we were definitely not disappointed. The genial hostess showed us to our table in a truly pleasant dining room. We shared the Mango Salad to start followed by the Three Pagoda Chicken Curry and the Beef Sukothai along with Double Rice. I have to say that in my opinion this was the absolute best Thai food that my wife and I have ever eaten. The service was also excellent and the prices very fair. I believe that Toronto is an extremely fortunate city to have such a fine Thai restaurant.

This restaurant is exceptional on every level! The food is outstanding!The staff anticipate your every need and go out of their way to make your dining experience a memorable one. And the atmosphere is so warm and cozy I just love coming there! I always bring my clients here if I want to impress them! And its our favorite place to celebrate birthdays! What can I say ~~ I just love it!

Came here for the buffet and I really enjoyed it. Just enough selection and they even have a great selection of vegetarian dishes. Really loved the pad Thai and the green curry. So good! Also enjoyed the make your own soup. Definitely would come back here again 🤗

I dine in this great spot often! This is the best place to to have a good dinner. I go to this spot routinely. The cooking is just great, the team is friendly and the prices are reasonable. I enjoy eating in this spot over a rich lunch.

This was so yummy. We ended up sitting in the area by the bar rather than the real dining room because we did not know there was a reduced menu there. But everything we ordered was so good. The menu was a special summer menu and I had the entree with burnt chili sauce and butternut squash and it was AMAZING. I also loved my dessert which was a fritter with some sauce that was also so, so delicious. I can't recommend each of them strongly enough. The others I ate with also greatly enjoyed their meals and I'm sure everything this restaurant has to offer is wonderful. It was also clearly a very busy night for them (though it was only a Wednesday) but they did their best to meet all of our needs when we told them we were on something of a time limit. Wonderful place. Would definitely try some new and exciting dishes there again.

I met up my best friend in this lovely place , Service was perfect , nice ambiance, we order 2 appetizers, one Thai Spring roll and one Calamari, both were very tasty 😋 As a main Cours we ordered pat Thai with a shrimp , This dish was one of the best ever pat Thai that I’ve tasted . The Second main course was Grilled trout with Ginger 👌👌👌👌Definitely recommend this place to Thai food lovers

The food was delicious! A group of 11 went before a show at the CAA theater, (we had a reservation), and the staff was mindful of our needing to be out by a certain time... we all ate different food on the menu & we all raved! We would all go there again! Outstanding service & food!

We come here every December during the Xmas time for the lunch buffet. The environment is ok but the dishes are always the same. I really suggest them to change the dish.

Upscale fine dining Thai restaurant which keeps their words to serve up authentic Thai food. Price is reasonable if taking the environment and food quality into considerations. Services were excellent.

Best mango salad I have tasted in Toronto. The Thai green & red curry is flavored just right without over powering on the spices. The servers are to be complimented on their attentiveness on your culinary needs.

Great looking location and service. The curry is not as spicy as expected. The price is quite affordable.

$18 per person for lunch buffet, amazing atmosphere and food. The cons are that there are not a lot of choice on what you eat.

Service was terrible today, no one came to empty our plates.
